Opened in November 2021 at Waggener Farm Park, the Town’s first recreation center has a gymnasium, a fitness center, a climbing wall, and an aquatics area with a three-lane lap pool and a two-story water slide, plus a schedule of classes, lap swim and open gym that runs every day. Day passes and memberships; SilverSneakers and similar plans accepted. It closes for a maintenance week each September and hosts the Father Daughter Dance, Neon Nights and the December craft fair.
Pool hours, school year 2026–27 (the Town’s schedule for August 20, 2026 to May 28, 2027):
- Lap swim: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 5 am–4 pm (one lane only 10:45–11:45 on Wednesday and Friday); Tuesday and Thursday 5 am–4:15 pm and 7–8 pm; Saturday 7–11 am; none on Sunday.
- Open swim, every feature running, no lap lanes: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4–8 pm; Saturday and Sunday 11 am–7 pm; none on Tuesday or Thursday.
- Family swim, the play pool and lazy river without the slide or climbing wall: Monday to Friday 9 am–4 pm (to 4:30 on Tuesday and Thursday).
- Water walking in the lazy river: weekdays 5–9 am, adults only; Tuesday and Thursday also 4:30–8 pm; Saturday 7–11 am.
- Spa: Monday to Friday 5 am–8 pm, Saturday 7 am–7 pm, Sunday 11 am–7 pm. Ages 6 and up; 6 to 13 with an adult.
The whole pool closes at 5 pm on the first Sunday of each month for lifeguard training, and the spa at 6 pm on the second and fourth Thursday. School-holiday hours differ; the Town posts them, with open gym and the day-by-day swim calendar, on its facility schedules page.
