Historic downtown Berthoud is a walkable grid of brick storefronts and converted houses, and Berthoud Main Street, the Berthoud Arts & Humanities Alliance and their partners have filled it with large-scale murals, a rotating sculpture program, decorative sidewalks and custom lamp posts. The Hometown Heroes banners honoring local veterans line Mountain Avenue. Start at the Pioneer Museum and walk west; Main Street’s tour page lists the murals, and a free Art in Public Places brochure is at Homestead Fine Art Gallery, City Star Brewing and The Rancher’s Wife.
