Self-guided walk along Mountain Avenue and its side streets past large murals, rotating sculptures, decorative sidewalks and the Hometown Heroes banners.
Historic downtown Berthoud is a walkable grid of brick storefronts and converted houses, and Berthoud Main Street has filled it with large-scale murals, a rotating sculpture program, decorative sidewalks and custom lamp posts. The Hometown Heroes banners honoring local veterans line Mountain Avenue. Start at the Pioneer Museum and walk west; the association’s website has a map.
